Compatibility problems with Tegra 2 devices

As I saw on facebook and by the mails you have sent to me (thanks!) there seems so to be a compatibility problem with some Tegra devices. The AppStore says it will not run although you do have Tegra powered devices. We only have the Asus EEE Transformer and the Motorola Xoom ourselves so we could not test it on all devices ... but thats why we make this Beta test :)

We currently just check for a certain texture format and min Android OS 3.2. If the device supports it the game will run. We probably forgot to add some texture formats or you guys dont have Android OS 3.2?

Currently there seems to be problems with the following devices - please add yours below so we can check it out on Monday:

G2X, Motorola Photon (4G), Motorola Atrix, LG O(ptimus)2x,

Please also say what Androud OS Version you have - thanks!

Again - we will support lower Android OS Versions (beginning with 2.2 or 2.3) and other Android devices very soon!

Works fine on Galaxy Tab 10.1. Btw, above in your first post you say the game currently requires OS3.2 and above. Mine is 3.1 and it works all right.

LG Optimus 2x running CyanogenMod 7.1 with Android 2.3.7 but the download link from the market is saying that I have no devices compatible.

Tested in Foshiba Folio 100 running ICS 4.0.3 and I get a black screen when I open the game, all the other Tegra zone or Gameloft games are working fine

We just uploaded a new "tegra phone compatible" version to the marketplace .. should be there in about 30 minutes (min Android OS now 2.3).

Please test again with your devices and report again if it works - thanks!
Sorry: ICS (Android 4.0) still does not work. But I hope we can fix this too because I personally also have a ICS phone :)

Would like to play this one, but I can't type a name for my char. It's not accepting any letters... I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Android 3.2. Any ideas?

I have a Toshiba Thrive AT100 running 3.2. I get the SoulCraft THD logo in the upper left corner for about 5 seconds then back to homescreen,. I just installed the update with no luck.

For the Thrive, define customizations please. No adjustments to clock speeds or anything like that. Everything else I use that was optimized for
Tegra2 seems to work just fine. Oh and... Thanks in advance

@ingeras: The android 2.3 version is available from the market.

The market checks which max-sdk you support, and chooses the highest available version for you.
So you can not just copy the (3.1) version from your tablet to your phone.
Currently the only difference is gamepad support in android 3.1.

I'm having trouble with the advent Vega running vegacomb 3.2. Can login to server and go through menus up until you press play the the loading bar stutters and freezes up. But you can hear the game play in the background! Obviously some small glitch somewhere.

i dont see the use of adding support for android devices running on older os. you cant expect to have it on everything you own. the market for froyo and gingerbread is shrinking. with the new os being rolled out that market is shrinking even more. even so there is literally a hand full of mobile phones that uses tegra and runs lower than honeycomb. You guys are literally draging this game down instead of the developers spending time on improving the game thats working on new devices and new os , they have to waste time on something thatl probably not even be used in six months from now. the description clearly states nvidia tegra devices only supported. these developers has a task at hand of making this game compatible with ics wich will actually be used in more than six months from now.
