There is an issue where when the app closes, the connection to the market is terminated and the transaction can no longer be completed. And this obviously would spell trouble. There should be an in-game hint that notifies you of this problem.
Other games tend to keep a second app running to monitor these processes and make sure your purchase will be completed. We don't, so we have a problem here.
While we are working on a solution to fix this issue to make the store more consistent, we hope this information will help solve some issues you are having!
